If you DO NOT have an XPA, KITEC, PEX-AL-PEX or IPEX system, this crimper will not work for you. If you are unsure, check the PEX Tubing or Pipe markings, or with your contractor, plumber, or fittings and ring supplier. I have other PEX Crimpers available that conform to the ASTM F1807 Standard if you need one, just check my other auctions.
The Handled Crimpers are based on the 24" bolt cutters, similiar to my standard Large Handled Crimpers, giving the leverage to the operator.
The Compact Crimper's 1", 3/4" & 1/2" sizes are Kitec, XPA and PEX-al-PEX compatible, however, the 3/8" is the standard ASTM F1807 size as I have yet to find the specification for 3/8" PEX-al-PEX.
