This tool is identical to the other Handled PEX Crimpers that I sell, however, they are based on the smaller 18" Bolt Cutters, instead of the Larger Handled 24" Bolt Cutters. This is an ideal tool when you don't have the room or need the extra leverage that the longer handles provide.

Since the success of my 1" Pex Crimper & 3/4"-1/2" Combo Crimper, I have had requests for other sizes. This is the latest addition to my growing family of Pex Crimper's. I have thousands in the field, with nothing but positive feedback from my customers. I'm selling these alongside of my 3/4"-1/2" Combo, 1" Crimper, and my 2 piece Compact Crimper. This tool was designed on a Computer and cut on a precision CNC (Computer Numerical Controlled) milling machine from solid steel. The Crimping end is the proper ASTM diameter that you will find necessary for 3/8" & 1/2" copper crimp rings, or the branded "Pex" all copper rings for sale at Menard's, Home Depot, etc. It is fast and easy to use, a lot like crimping an electrical connector and its easy because of the 13" handles. The overall length is just over 19", giving the leverage advantage to the operator. This is a great tool for those of you building a home or installing water lines, toilet fixtures, sink lines and such, or anyone putting in a system using 3/4" & 1/2" Pex crimp lines. I made the end of it narrow, and slightly longer than the average Crimp Tool, to allow you to get at those hard to reach spots to crimp. This Crimper is fully adjustable, and comes with instructions to do so, as well as how to swap the Jaws out for the Bolt Cutting heads.
No need to fumble around, changing the jaws to multiple sizes like with other kits, then having to calibrate the tool to the proper size, wasting copper rings. It comes properly calibrated, and is fully adjustable!
So here is your chance to put some "good ole' American" ingenuity to work for you and also own a reasonably price Pex Tool. I'm including the original Bolt Cutting Heads, so that way, if you are like me and don't need the Crimper after your system is set up, you can at least use the tool as a lock, bolt or chain cutter, a nice added bonus. Of course, you can switch it back to a Crimping Tool if necessary, at any time.
