Up for auction, I have a hard to find 1-1/4" Pex Crimping tool.
This tool was created to address the need to crimp larger 1-1/4" PEX lines in an industrial application, or a large Outdoor Wood Boiler. I applied the same principles that I used in the creation of all of my Crimpers only scaled them up for this Monster PEX Copper Ring Crimper. If you wish to read the evolution of my Crimpers, check out my 1" Crimper auction. To sum it up, I took a pair of the heaviest duty Bolt Cutter I could find, and designed a set of Jaws to do the Crimping.
Product Description:
This tool was made by me, in my home shop, on a CNC (Computer Numerical Controlled) milling machine from solid steel. The Crimping end is the proper ASTM diameter that you will find necessary for 1-1/4"" black copper crimp rings, or the branded "Pex" all copper rings for sale at Menard's, Home Depot, etc.. It is fast and easy to use, a lot like crimping an electrical connector. The 18.5" handles give the advantage of leverage to the operator, and will cut down the fatigue that comes with crimping several rings of this size. Their overall length is over 25". This is a great tool for those of you building or installing outdoor wood or corn boilers, or anyone putting in a water system using 1-1/4" Pex crimp lines.
I am also including the original Bolt Cutting Heads with the tool. So that way, if you are like me and don't need the Crimper after your system is set up, you can at least use the tool as a lock or bolt cutter, a nice added bonus. Of course, you can switch it back to a Crimping Tool if necessary, at any time. Please note in the pictures that 1 of them has the Bolt cutting heads installed. This is for illustration purposes only. Your unit will come with the Crimp heads installed, Bolt Heads packaged inside. This Crimper is fully adjustable, and comes with instructions to do so, as well as how to swap the Jaws out for the Bolt Cutting heads.
So here is your chance to own a reasonably priced Large Capacity Pex Crimping Tool. I've sold Hundreds of these Crimper's, and have had a tremendously positive feedback from my customers on all of my tools.
PLEASE NOTE: Canadian Buyers will incur addtional shipping charges, as the average shipping of this nearly 8lb. Crimper to Canada is around $39. I will only charge actual shipping cost, as I don't "pad" my shipping rates and will re-imburse any overages paid.
