Here's the 1"-3/8" PEX Combo.
Product Description:
Since the success of my 1" Pex Crimper (hundreds sold on EBAY, just check my feedback), I have been inundated with requests for other sizes. So here's my 1", 3/8" Combo Crimping Tool. This increases the versatility of my 1" crimper by adding the 3/8" size to it. I'm selling these alongside my many other Combination Crimpers, as well as my Small Compact Crimper.
This tool was designed on a Computer and cut on a precision CNC (Computer Numerical Controlled) milling machine from solid steel. The Crimping end is the proper ASTM diameter that you will find necessary for 1" & 3/8" copper crimp rings, or the branded "Pex" all copper rings for sale at Menard's, Home Depot, etc? It is fast and easy to use, a lot like crimping an electrical connector and its easy because of the 18-1/2" handles. The overall length is just over 24", giving the leverage advantage to the operator. As any plumber will tell you, the longer the handles, the less fatigue you will have when crimping. This Crimper is fully adjustable, and comes with instructions to do so, as well as how to swap the Jaws out for the Bolt Cutting heads. This is a great tool for those of you building or installing outdoor wood or corn boilers, or anyone putting in a home water system using 3/4" & 1/2" Pex crimp lines. I made the end of it narrow, and slightly longer than the average Crimp Tool, to allow you to get at those hard to reach spots to crimp.
No need to fumble around, changing the jaws to multiple sizes like with other kits, then having to calibrate the tool to the proper size, wasting copper rings. It comes properly calibrated!
I am also including the original Bolt Cutting Heads with the auction.
So that way, if you are like me and don't need the Crimper after your system is set up, you can at least use the tool as a lock or bolt cutter, a nice added bonus. Of course, you can switch it back to a Crimping Tool if necessary, at any time. Please note in the pictures that 1 of them has the Bolt cutting heads installed. This is for illustration purposes only. Your unit will come with the Crimp heads installed, Bolt Heads packaged inside.
PLEASE NOTE: Canadian Buyers will incur addtional shipping charges, as the average shipping of this nearly 8lb. Crimper to Canada is around $39. I will only charge actual shipping cost, as I don't "pad" my shipping rates and will re-imburse any overages paid.
